Marc Baer is a member of the law firm Waldman, Grossfeld, Appel & Baer, P.A., a general practice firm representing clients throughout the State of Maryland. The firm has offices in Baltimore City, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, and Dorchester Counties. Marc's primary practice areas are bankruptcy, family, and real estate law. He is a member of the Maryland State, Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Anne Arundel County Bar Associations, Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, American Bankruptcy Institute, and American Arbitration Association. Marc is a 1975 graduate of the American University, Washington, D.C., and a 1978 graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law. Marc was admitted to the Maryland Bar. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States Tax Court. Marc received his mediation training for the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Legal Education, and obtained civil and domestic certificates. He currently serves on the Civil Mediation Panel for the Circuit Courts for Baltimore City and Baltimore County, the Domestic Mediation Panel for the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, and the Civil Facilitator Panel for the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County. In addition to his law and mediation practice, Marc has been a member of the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee Panel since 1980, and also serves on the Maryland Health Care Arbitration Panel. He also acts as an attorney advisor to Baltimore Neighborhoods, Inc, a nonprofit agency that deals with housing issues throughout the state of Maryland. Marc is firm believer in mediation and the significant advantages the parties gain by resolving their dispute through conciliation and collaboration in a non-adversary setting. |
