CAROL BERZ, LC SW, JD, PHD, BCD.
Carol Berz is President and CEO of Private Dispute Resolution Services. ("PDRS") She has been a civil and family mediator since 1981. Dr. Berz is a member of the Tennessee Advisory Committee to the United States
Commission on Civil Rights. Dr. Berz studied liberal arts at Emory University and social work at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. Her master's degree in social policy was completed at the University of Tennessee,
Knoxville; her law degree was completed at the Nashville School of Law; and her doctorate in law and policy was completed at the University of Tennessee and Bryn Mawr College.
Dr. Berz is approved by the Mediation
Association of Tennessee ("MAT") as a Mediator and Trainer in the fields of Family and Divorce Mediation and Civil and Commercial Mediation, and by the Supreme Court of Tennessee as Rule 31 Mediator and Trainer in the
fields of General Civil and Family Mediation.
