Anne Dunnburg is a financial planner, owner of Professional Mediation Advantage, LLC, and a professional mediator, certified by the Supreme Court of Virginia for court-referred cases involving general and domestic
relations issues. Anne also facilitates private mediations. She brings highly developed communication, coordination, mediation, negotiation and arbitration skills from positions which included mental health therapy,
medical social work, public and adult education and business management.
Anne received her Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York, with concentrations in education and psychology. Her M.A. in Community Mental Health is from Goddard-Cambridge Graduate Program in Social
Change Cambridge, MA, and continues her lifelong learning, expecting to earn her M.S. in Financial Planning from Golden Gate University (San Francisco, CA) in 2003.
Recently, as a community service, Anne wrote monthly educational columns called 'Focus on Family' for a Virginia-based newspaper. She served on Boards for the National Kidney Foundation of Virginia and the
Heart of Virginia Kidney Patientsβ Services Fund, and has received awards from non-profit organizations such as the Mid-Atlantic Renal Coalition.
Anne maintains professional memberships in the Virginia Mediation Network, the Central Virginia Mediation Network, the Association for Conflict Resolution, the Financial Planning Association, the Council of
Nephrology Social Workers and the American Counseling Association.
